How to get started

If you’re new to Niche, this page is designed to help you get started. Here you’ll find helpful information about our classes, what to expect during your first visit, and how to choose the right class for your experience level and goals. Whether you’re new to Pilates or simply new to our studio, these resources will guide you through the steps to begin your practice with confidence.

Have other questions?

  • At Niche, our classes are designed to foster an open, welcoming environment that honors both classical and contemporary Pilates.
  • If you’re new to Pilates, we recommend starting with Move Mat, Beginner Reformer, or a private session to learn the foundations and get comfortable with the equipment.
  • If you have Pilates experience but are new to Niche, great options include Move Mat or Endurance Mat, Reformer Flow or Power Flow, as well as Tower or Cadillac, Chair, Barrel classes.

If you enjoy strength training or circuit-style workouts, our Strength Training Classes are a great place to begin. These classes follow a structured circuit and time-based format designed to bridge Pilates principles with traditional strength training methods. You will move through stations using equipment such as cable machines, benches, dumbbells, TRX, and cardio intervals to build full-body strength, endurance, and stability.

If you are new to strength training, we recommend starting with Personal Training sessions, where you can work one-on-one with an instructor to build a strong foundation in form, control, and technique. From there, you can progress into more dynamic circuit-style classes that challenge strength, coordination, and conditioning while continuing to support overall movement quality.

You can also explore our full class guide to find the format that best fits your experience level and goals.

If you’re looking for a more personalized experience, we recommend starting with a private class designed to meet your individual needs and fitness level.

  • Absolutely! We offer a beginner-friendly Reformer class. If that time doesn’t work for your schedule, a private session with one of our instructors is a great way to get comfortable with the equipment and learn the terminology used in class.
  • If it’s your first time joining us, feel free to let the instructor know—we’re always happy to walk you through the equipment, explain what to expect, and help with any modifications you may need.
  • While not required, grippy socks can be helpful for your first Reformer class, and they’re available for purchase at the studio.

If it’s your first time at Niche, we ask that you arrive about 10 minutes early so our Client Experience Team can check you in and review studio policies. This also gives our instructors a chance to connect with you and learn a bit about you before class starts.

We provide mats for class along with mat covers for your use. If you prefer to bring your own mat, you’re more than welcome to do so.

Click “Book a Class” to create an account through bsport. For the easiest experience, we recommend downloading our app to browse and book from the schedule, or you can view the schedule directly here.

Form-fitting clothing helps instructors better see your alignment and movement so they can offer the most effective guidance during class, but it’s not a requirement. If you prefer loose-fitting shorts or pants with a shirt or tank, that’s completely welcome—we’re here to support you either way.

We have a parking lot available on the northwest side of Main St., directly across from Beauvine Burger Concept. There is also street parking available throughout the area around the studio.

  • If you’re unable to attend class, we ask that you cancel at least 10 hours before the start time so clients on the waitlist have the opportunity to book the spot. Cancellations made within 10 hours of class will result in a lost credit.
  • You can view our full studio policy here.

If you do not attend your scheduled class or appointment without canceling in advance, it will be considered a no-show. A $10 no-show fee will be charged to the card on file. This policy helps us make appointments available to other clients and ensures our instructors’ time is respected.

Great! If you’re new to Niche, we recommend starting with our New Client Two-Week Package. It’s a simple way to try a few classes, get a feel for what we offer, and ease into the experience. Once you’re set, you can check out the schedule and book your classes here.
